Restoration

After decades of neglect, the Wren-Darne is undergoing a restoration!

The History

This is the resting place of the Wren and Darne families. Many of these individuals were important members of the community, and helped Falls Church and Fairfax county become the wonderful communities we know today.

The man who saved this historic cemetery

Pete Greene

Pete, whom his neighbors fondly refer to as 'Bonedaddy', is the caretaker of this piece of history. Over the past several years he has spearheaded the restoration. He and his wife Nancy have spent countless man-hours and thousands of dollars turning an overgrown lot into what you see today!
